For generations, Nepal’s fertile lands have nurtured an abundance of highly nutritious local crops. However, a lack of research and development in these valuable resources has forced the country to depend on imported food. Our farmers struggle with unfair prices and limited market access, pushing agriculture toward decline. Meanwhile, highly processed, chemically treated foods have taken over the market, negatively impacting public health and contributing to the rise of chronic diseases.

The growing trade deficit from food imports and the disappearance of indigenous crops threaten not just the economy but also environmental sustainability and food security. It was clear—something had to change.

The Birth of Kodali Ventures

With a vision to restore Nepal’s food sovereignty, a passionate women-led team came together to establish Kodali Ventures. We set out on a mission to bridge the gap between tradition and innovation—bringing back the power of local ingredients while transforming them into modern, high-quality health products.

Through dedicated research, we explored the untapped potential of indigenous crops, unlocking their nutritional benefits and creating innovative, sustainable, and health-focused food solutions. Our products are designed to nourish people, empower farmers, and strengthen Nepal’s economy.
