A Rich Heritage

Established in 1966, NTDC’s tea estates trace their roots to 1863, when Colonel Gajraj Singh Thapa planted the first gardens with seeds gifted by the Chinese Emperor. Originally developed under British technical collaboration, these estates were privatized in 2000 and entrusted to Triveni Group.
